Whenever the pup nips at you tell him NO or STOP or something like that and be persistent. Don't give in and never let him get away with it, otherwise he will keep doing it. Dogs don't understand the English language so you have to be persistent when telling him not to bite. Also, when you tell him NO, you need to stop playing with him to let him know that biting will cause you to ignore him. Get dog chew toys. Dogs have a natural tendency to chew, especially young ones who start teething. Whenever you're playing with him always have one of his toys between your hand and his teeth.
