How does the setting affect the symbols in the story of Frankenstein?

one of the biggest symbol in frankenstein is that of fire. the monster discoveres fire while he is living in the woods, which is how cavemen discovered fire. im not really sure if thats helpful or not but its 2 am and i cant think clearly right now lol .. OH try sparknotes.com !! everyone says that that site isnt accurate but it deffinitly is! every book i've ever read i checked it over on sparknotes and everything is correct. sparknotes helped me out TONS when i was doing frankenstein just a month ago.
