Why the strangers do not help Mehdi, Sunni hadith says he will be persecuted before emergence?

The Mehdi will have Allah's help so there is no need for help from strangers. It is true that even strangers have supported him, but he never relied on strangers to protect him. Allah is the only and greatest Protector.
