'01 Infiniti I30 question?

The guy across the street is selling a black one for $5,500. everything sounds decent and seems to be working fine. Only problem, the mesh shade in the back looks to be stuck and also, the stereo won't turn on (maybe a fuse or a wire is bad). Is this a good car for the price?
