I need help with finding the right character name...?

Why don't you try a site like Behind the Name? On there they have a random name generator and even though it is supposed to be first and middle names, you could probably come up with a good last name for that. Behind the Name also has a surnames site, which allows you to search by ethnicity to find the right name and it's meaning.
