Christian funeral ...?

I'm a Catholic and I've been to many funerals of different religious denominations. Like Sentinal, I believe that a funeral should be a celebration of the life of person who has ped away. However, I did attend a funeral very similar to the one you describe. The elder or whatever he called himself giving the eulogy even gave out pamphlets. This was a family friend who had become a Jehovah's witness. So maybe this was the religious denomination of your co-worker.
